A wintry mix will continue in interior New England through tonight as a coastal storm quickly passes to the east. Heavy snow is expected in northern Maine, with a coating of ice expected for much of interior New England. Here is an experimental forecast model's output of smoke transport from the 416 Wildfire north of Durango. Areas of smoke and haze are expected today in portions of southwest Colorado. Winds are still on track to shift to the southwest late this morning/early this afternoon which will shift the projected smoke transport. Please take the necessary precautions if you are sensitive to smoke by minimizing outdoor activity.
