Most of deep south Texas is under a MODERATE RISK (Level 3 of 4) of excessive rainfall on Monday, when NUMEROUS FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY, while the easternmost areas are under a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 4) for scattered flash flooding. The entire region is placed within a Slight Risk of scattered flash flooding on Tuesday and the eastern half of our area is under a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 4) to Slight Risk of isolated to scattered flash flooding on Wednesday. We currently anticipate that most areas are likely to receive 3-6 inches of rain Monday through Wednesday, with localized amounts up to 8+ inches.
