There is a medium (40-70%) chance of showers and thunderstorms on Thursday, leading to a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 4) of excessive rainfall across all of Deep South Texas. Isolated flash flooding or ponding on the roadways are possible.
In addition to the potential for heavy rain tonight into Thursday, there is a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 4) for excessive rainfall on Saturday for most of Deep South Texas, and a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 4) for excessive rainfall for much of Kenedy and extreme northeast Brooks County. Meanwhile, on Sunday, there is a Marginal Risk for excessive rainfall for areas along and east of IH-69C/US-281.
