Snow in the Rockies; Showers and Thunderstorms Along the Gulf Coast; Potential Winter Storm for Northern Mid-Atlantic and Interior New England

A winter-like pattern will continue over much of the Lower 48 over the next few days, with snow stretching from the Rockies today into the Middle Mississippi Valley on Monday. Showers and thunderstorms will develop along the Gulf Coast and Southeast on Monday. Subject: Changes to flood stage categories for the Shunganunga Creek 
         at Topeka, KS.

Beginning on Tuesday, June 2, 2025, all flood stage categories for 
the Shunganunga Creek at Topeka, KS at 21st Street, TSHK1, will be 
lowered. Recent review of past floods indicated that flooding 
occurred at lower stages than the existing flood categories. In 
order to represent the flood impacts more accurately along the 
Shunganunga Creek, the flood categories will be lowered. These 
changes have been coordinated with the USGS and Shawnee County 
Emergency Management.
