A system moving overhead tomorrow looks to bring a wide variety of weather for south central and southeast Colorado. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible over and near the mountains, with accumulating snowfall for peaks above 8,000ft. Winter Weather Advisories are in place for the San Juans, the La Garitas, and the central mountains for Sunday morning through Monday morning, where 4 to 8 inches of wind driven snow is expected. Winds gusting to 50 mph are likely across the area, with strongest gusts across our southern border. Warm and windy conditions are expected over our plains, with above normal temperatures. The system sends a cold front through eventually, leading to much cooler and more seasonable temperatures for the beginning of next week. #cowx
