Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. NOAA Weather Radio Outage Through Early Next Week

The NOAA Weather Radio stations that serve the Canon City, Colorado region, Lamar, Colorado region, and the Walsenburg, Colorado region are currently off the air due to a computer software problem. Radio technicians anticipate that the three weather radio stations will be fixed and returned to service by early next week.
