The Medford weather forecast office issues weather warnings, watches and advisories for southern Oregon and northern California 24/7/365. The office also collects weather data from the weather radar located on Mount Ashland and the weather balloon launched twice daily from Medford. The office is continually staffed by a team of meteorologists, hydrologists, electronics technicians and administrative staff who work together to provide accurate and timely weather information to the public and emergency management agencies.
