SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS OF SEPT 24. THIS DATA IS

PRIMARY AFFECT WAS STORM SURGE FLOODING IN LOW LYING COASTAL AREAS.
HOUSES AND BUSINESSES WERE FLOODED IN LOW LYING COMMUNITIES ALONG
BAYOUS IN SOUTHERN TERREBONNE, SOUTH LAFOURCHE, AND SOUTHERN
JEFFERSON PARISHES. STORM SURGE FLOODING ALSO OCCURRED IN AREAS
ADJACENT TO LAKE PONTCHARTRAIN OF SOUTHERN ST TAMMANY PARISH WITH
SOMES HOMES AND BUSINESS FLOODED IN SLIDELL AND MANDEVILLE. REPAIRED
LEVEES WERE OVERTOPPED OR BREACHED ALONG INDUSTRIAL CANAL IN NEW
ORLEANS WITH RENEWED FLOODING IN ADJACENT PORTIONS OF ST. BERNARD
PARISH AND NEW ORLEANS...ALTHOUGH FLOODING WAS MUCH MORE LIMITED
THAN DURING HURRICANE KATRINA
