The National Weather Service is looking for a volunteer Cooperative Weather Observer in or within 5 miles of Meade. We will provide all the equipment, supplies and training necessary to collect daily temperature, precipitation and snowfall data. All you need is your willingness to collect weather information on a daily basis and a location to set up the equipment.   The equipment comprises of a temperature sensor with a digital display unit and a standard rain gauge.
