This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, northeast Nebraska, south central South Dakota and southeast
South Dakota.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible this evening. Some may be strong
to severe. The greater risk for severe weather is along and north of
I-90.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Strong to severe thunderstorms will again be possible late Tuesday
afternoon through early Wednesday morning. The primary risks with
this activity will be hail to the size of a half dollar and 60-65
mph wind gusts. Though the risk is low, a tornado or two with storm
initiation is possible.
Temperatures rise by next weekend with the potential for high
temperatures in the middle 90s to lower 100s.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are possible this
evening across the northern Sandhills into the eastern Panhandle. A
few storms may become severe with damaging wind gusts and hail
possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
Scattered thunderstorms are likely Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon
and evening with a few strong to severe storms possible. Damaging
winds and large hail are the main concerns.
Confidence continues to increase regarding the potential for well
above normal temperatures Sunday into next work week across portions
of western Nebraska. Folks sensitive to heat should monitor later
forecasts for up-to-date information.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central South Dakota and
north central South Dakota.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
A Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for severe weather is in effect for
storms developing late this afternoon and this evening. The main
severe threats will be hail of 1 inch in diameter and wind gusts of
60 miles per hour.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
On Tuesday, a Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather is in
place for storms from the afternoon through the overnight time
frame. All severe threats, including wind gusts of 60 to 70 miles
per hour, hail of 1 inch in diameter, tornadoes, and heavy rainfall
leading to flash flooding will be possible.
Portions of Jones, Lyman, and Buffalo counties are in a Marginal Risk
(Level 1 out of 5) for severe weather Wednesday afternoon. Wind gusts
of 60 mph and 1 inch diameter hail will be possible.
