This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Gusty south winds will keep the grassland fire danger very high
through about midnight across central Kansas. Outdoor burning
should be avoided.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Warm and windy conditions will support very high to low-end extreme
grassfire danger Friday, mainly across central, north-central, and
east-central Kansas.

Strong southerly wind gusts around 45 mph will impact central and
north-central Kansas Friday. Some blowing dust may accompany the
strong winds.

A showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday night through
Sunday mainly west of I-135. Higher rain and storm chances should
sweep east across the region Sunday night through Monday. Severe
weather or widespread heavy rainfall is not expected.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.

Elevated to localized significant fire weather conditions are
expected again Friday as increased winds will combine with a dry
air mass that remains in place.

This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

 Critical fire weather danger today. South winds gusting around 25-35
MPH combined with low RH and dry fuels create favorable conditions
for fires.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

 Elevated fire weather concerns continue through Friday, although
winds will be slightly relaxed. No other hazardous weather is
anticipated.
