This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, south central Kansas and southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and evening,
mainly west of Interstate 135. If a storm or two can form, quarter size
hail and 60 mph winds are possible. Most locations will likely
remain thunderstorm-free.

Additional thunderstorms are possible along Interstate 70, late this
evening into tonight. The strongest storms may produce hail up to
quarter size, wind gusts near 60 mph, and heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A few isolated thunderstorms will remain possible late Saturday and
again late Sunday, mainly along and west of Interstate 135. Severe
weather is possible with any storms that form, but most locations
will likely stay thunderstorm-free.

Better chances for thunderstorms arrive late Monday afternoon
through night, with severe weather and heavy rainfall possible.

Additional hit-or-miss showers and thunderstorms are possible
Tuesday through week`s end, but severe weather is not expected with
this activity.

Very high grassfire danger is expected both Sunday and Monday
afternoons generally west of Interstate 135, due to strong south
winds, low humidity, and above average temperatures.
