This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited ice accumulation risk.
  Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Elevated fire weather conditions will continue to occur across
portions of the area the rest of this afternoon.

There is a low 15 to 30 percent chance for light rain or drizzle
in the eastern Ozarks late tonight. If temperatures stay below
freezing, there is a low (10 percent chance) for a brief period
of freezing drizzle though amounts would be really light if any.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

There will be the potential for some snow across portions of the
area late Friday into the weekend. There is however a lot of
uncertainty on the track of this system and exact amounts if any
across the area.

Wind chill values below zero are possible this weekend behind the
system as a much colder air mass moves over the region.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
