This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling
Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Elevated fire weather conditions will develop this afternoon over
portions of the Caprock. A Fire Danger Statement is in effect for the
far southwestern Texas Panhandle from noon until 7 PM.

There is a slight chance of a few isolated thunderstorms off the
Caprock this evening along and east of a line from Silverton to
Matador to Aspermont, but severe weather is unlikely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A slight chance for isolated thunderstorms exists on Wednesday over
eastern portions of the Rolling Plains.

Thunderstorm chances will expand across the entire forecast area on
Thursday. Some of these storms may be severe on Thursday afternoon
and evening, and will be capable of producing large hail and damaging
wind gusts.

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible again on Friday.
