THUNDERSTORMS WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.
RISK...Elevated.
AREA...Much of Eastern Oklahoma and also West Central Arkansas.
ONSET...After 9PM Eastern Oklahoma...After Midnight West Central
Arkansas.

POOR VISIBILITY.
RISK...Elevated.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...Ongoing.

DISCUSSION...
Areas of fog along with locations of dense fog early Sunday
morning across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas are
forecast to remain into the mid morning hours before improving.
Visibility less than one mile at times are anticipated, with the
greater potential of visibility less than a half mile along and
west of Highway 75 in northeast Oklahoma. Prepare for rapidly
changing visibility and use caution while traveling this morning.

Shower and thunderstorm chances develop this evening across
eastern Oklahoma and spread into western Arkansas overnight
tonight. The greater thunder potential as well as a locally heavy
rain threat is forecast mainly along and south of Interstate 40
tonight.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast to continue Monday across
eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas as a low pressure system
moves over the region. Again, the greater thunderstorm and heavy
rain potentials are anticipated along and south of Interstate 40
through Monday afternoon. Instability over far southeast Oklahoma
from mid morning through mid afternoon may create a window for a
limited potential of a couple strong to severe storms near the Red
River. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches and locally higher are
forecast as well for parts of southeast Oklahoma Monday, which on
top of recent rains could lead to localized areas of flash flood
conditions. Rain showers taper off and exit from west to east
Monday evening.

DISCUSSION...

Areas of fog with localized dense fog in locations along and
north of the Ozark Plateau are expected through this morning. A
Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 10 AM this morning to
account for this potential. Visibilities will fluctuate, but some
areas may experience visibilities of a half mile or less at
times.

No Hazardous weather is expected at this time.
