This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hot and humid conditions will continue again today. Heat index
values will increase to over 100 for most areas...likely over 105
degrees for much of the southeast half to two-thirds of the area.

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are possible again this
afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall and some gusty winds may be
seen with the strongest activity. However...the threat for
organized strong to severe weather should remain low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Some isolated afternoon thunderstorms will be possible again on
Wednesday. The overall threat for strong to severe weather will
remain low however.

Hot and humid conditions will continue for the next several days.
Highs will be in the 90s for most areas...with heat index values
in the upper 90s to over 105. Some areas may see heat index values
getting close to 110. No major cool downs are expected soon.

will heighten the potential risk of health-related impacts from

South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will impact
locations mainly along and northwest of the Kansas Turnpike this
evening and tonight. The primary concern will be locally intense
rainfall rates, which could result in areas of flooding.
Additionally, a few of the stronger storms will be capable of 60 mph
winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Spotty shower and thunderstorm chances remain in the forecast
Tuesday afternoon and evening, and off-and-on late Wednesday
through the weekend, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours.
The primary threats with this activity will be strong wind gusts
and heavy rainfall.

Heat indices around 100 degrees are expected each afternoon and
early evening this week through the weekend.

north-central Oklahoma. Severe weather is not anticipated, and
any activity should diminish with sunset.

- Hot and humid conditions persist through Monday with heat
  indices near or above 100 degrees F.

- Thunderstorms possible Monday afternoon into early Tuesday
  mainly for the northwest corner of Missouri. The strongest
  storms could produce damaging winds. Heavy rainfall could lead
  to localized flooding. The strongest storms expected Monday
  afternoon into the evening.

- Hot and humid conditions continue through the week. Multiple chances
  for rain and periods of increased cloud cover may provide
  some relief from the heat.
