Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

Weather hazards expected...
Limited excessive cold risk.
Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
DISCUSSION...
Gusty winds up to 30 mph will continue until around sunset before
they diminish. Cold temperatures and wind chills are expected
tonight with lows generally in the upper single digits to teens
and wind chills in the single digits above and below zero.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.
Elevated to locally significant fire weather conditions will be
possible Sunday, as a dry air mass remains in place across the
area.
Single digit wind chills are forecast each morning Sunday, Monday
and Tuesday. The coldest conditions will occur Sunday morning
when wind chill values of five below zero to five above zero are
expected.

dusting on elevated surfaces and grassy areas anticipated, if
that. Cold wind chills in the single digits are expected tonight.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Cold wind chills in the single digits are expected at daybreak
Monday and Tuesday, so prepare accordingly for work and school
begin day cold. It is possible that wind chills could touch zero
or even briefly the negative digits in the far north early Monday
morning.

DISCUSSION...
Gusty northwest winds this afternoon around 25 to 35 mph combined
with low relative humidity values will provide at least limited
fire weather concerns across the area despite below normal
temperatures. The best overlap of conditions will be along and
west of Highway 75 in eastern Oklahoma where winds will be the
strongest and RH values the lowest.
Winds will be on the decrease this evening, but rapidly falling
temperatures will still yield wind chill values in the single
digits tonight across the area.

Winds will turn around to the southwest on Sunday and will gust
between 20 and 25 mph during the afternoon. The gusty winds, low
humidity and favorable fuels will yield at least limited fire
