west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

There is a low probability of widespread hazardous weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

.KEY MESSAGES...

- Well above normal temperatures continue into the weekend.

- Widespread rain becoming more likely for late Friday night
  into Saturday evening, especially along and south of the
  Interstate 70 corridor (70% to 90%).

- Significantly above normal temperatures are probable for
  early next week, especially Tuesday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Some elevated fire weather conditions will occur across portions
of the area late this morning into early this evening as southerly
winds combine with a seasonably warm and dry air mass.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Showers will develop and move into the area Friday evening into
the overnight hours and continue at times into Sunday morning.
There will be the potential for some isolated embedded lightning
with this activity.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
