REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive
  rainfall are possible over the recent burn scars across Madison
  County. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in less
  than one hour from thunderstorms.

* WHERE...The recent burn scars across Madison County, with the
  greatest impacts from debris flows possible on the Cloudrest,
  Bivens Creek, and McAllister burn scars.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall over the Recent burn scars across Madison
  County is expected up to and during the period of the watch.
  Residents near the Recent burn scars across Madison County should
  prepare for potential flooding impacts. Be sure to stay up to date
  with information from local authorities. Heavy rainfall could
  trigger flash flooding of low-lying areas, urbanized street
  flooding, and debris flows in and near recent wildfire burn scars.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - National Weather Service Meteorologists are forecasting heavy
    rainfall over the burn scar, which may lead to flash flooding
    and debris flows.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of
  water in urban or other areas is occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1037 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ogden, Brigham City, Roy, North Ogden, Hooper, Perry,
    Willard, Marriott-Slaterville, Corinne, South Willard, West
    Haven, Pleasant View, Farr West, Harrisville, Plain City,
    Warren, West Weber, West Warren, Slaterville and Wilson.
  - Standing water on I-15 between West Haven and Corinne is

    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ogden, Layton, Hill Air Force Base, Roy, Clearfield,
    Syracuse, Clinton, South Ogden, Washington Terrace,
    Riverdale, Hooper, South Weber, Uintah, Weber State
    University, West Point and Sunset.

The following message is transmitted on behalf of the Wyoming
Department of Environmental Quality, Air Quality Division, and the
Wyoming Department of Health.

* WHAT...Air Quality Alert for Wildfire Smoke.

* WHERE...Portions of west-central Wyoming, including the northern
  parts of the Wind River Mountains and the western foothills from
  Boulder and Pinedale northwest to Cora, Daniel, and Bondurant.

* WHEN...Until 1 PM Wednesday, August 27.

* IMPACTS...Smoke from the Dollar Lake Fire continues to be observed
  across portions of west-central Wyoming. The smoke is will limit
  visibilities at times, especially in the northern stretches of the
  Wind River Mountains..

HEALTH INFORMATION...The Wyoming Department of Health recommends
that the elderly, young children, and individuals with respiratory
problems avoid excessive physical exertion and minimize outdoor
activities during this time. Wildfire smoke is made up of a variety
of pollutants, including particulate matter and ozone, which can
cause respiratory health effects. Although these people are most
susceptible to health impacts, the Department of Health also advises
that everyone should avoid prolonged exposure to poor air quality
conditions.

CURRENT CONDITIONS...The Wyoming Department of Environmental
Quality, Air Quality Division offers near real-time air quality data
for Wyoming`s monitoring stations and health effects information to
help the public interpret current conditions. Current air quality

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop over the mountains,
and then spread east across the I-25 Corridor and adjacent plains
during the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms will produce
locally heavy rain, with 1-2 inches possible in a 30-45 minute
period. Burn scars will be most at risk for flash flooding,
although street and localized lowland flooding can be expected
with any stronger storms moving through the I-25 Corridor and
plains. One or two storms may also approach severe levels with
hail and strong winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

The weather pattern will remain active with scattered to numerous
showers and thunderstorms through at least Thursday, with a
slow decrease of thunderstorm coverage and intensity thereafter.
The greatest risk of any storms producing flash flooding would be
decreasing after Thursday. Drier conditions will likely arrive
for Sunday into early next week.

Widespread convection is expected again today. Storms will be
capable of producing heavy rainfall, small hail, gusty winds, and
frequent lightning. Flash flooding and debris flows are possible in
sensitive areas, such as slot canyons and recent burn scars. Storms
and flooding concerns will taper off quickly overnight.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue into the weekend. A slight
downturn in shower coverage is expected by Sunday. Flash flooding
