...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EDT THIS
MORNING...
* WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level in
low lying areas due to tidal flooding.
* WHERE...Shoreline in Southeast Harford County.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EDT this morning, especially around the
time of high tide.
* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, water begins to go over the bulkhead at
the Havre de Grace Yacht Basin in multiple locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one to one and a half feet above
normal. High tide at Havre de Grace is ongoing.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. A
few of these storms may produce locally damaging wind gusts
between 4 PM this afternoon and 8 PM this evening.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
An isolated severe thunderstorm or two is possible from near
Fredericksburg to southern Maryland Saturday afternoon.
There is a significant heat risk the second half of next week.
Air temperatures of 95 to 100 combined increasing humidity may
result in heat index values of 105 to 110 each afternoon
Wednesday through next Friday.

A few severe thunderstorms are possible across the central
Shenandoah Valley to the central Virginia piedmont Saturday
afternoon. Damaging wind gusts are the primary threat.
There is a significant heat risk the second half of next week.
Air temperatures of 95 to 100 combined increasing humidity may
result in heat index values of 100 to 110 each afternoon
Wednesday through next Friday.
