AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by ice jams is possible.
* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following
counties, Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Fulton, Huntingdon and Somerset.
* WHEN...Through Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Significant ice breakup on area rivers and creeks has been
observed over the last few days as a result of an extended
stretch of mild temperatures. Multiple rounds of heavy rain
and embedded thunderstorms this afternoon and overnight could
produce 1-1.5" of rain in the watch area. This heavy rainfall
combined with snowmelt will produce increased streamflows and
an elevated risk of ice jam flooding.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
