...Additional snowfall moving into Southeast Michigan tonight...

As expected, light to briefly moderate intensity snowfall has spread
into Southeast Michigan tonight. Snowfall rates will peak between
0.25 and 0.50 inches per hour. Visibility reductions below a mile
are possible at times. Total new snow accumulations by Wednesday
afternoon range from 1 to 3 inches. Areas south of I-96 should see a
changeover to rain prior to sunrise while temperatures rise some 2F
to 4F above freezing. Warm southerly wind gusts may exceed 30 mph at
times.

Untreated roadways will become slick and snow covered across the
region. Drivers should exercise caution and be prepared for variable
road conditions. You can obtain the latest road conditions from the
MDOT Michigan Drive Map.

If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on
stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

...GUSTY WINDS TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY...

During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low
pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts
of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly

overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New York.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Snow will develop very late tonight out ahead of the next incoming
low pressure system. Untreated roads will likely become snow covered
just before or during the Wednesday morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A low pressure system will move through the area Wednesday. Morning
snow will change to an elevation based rain/snow mix in the afternoon
and evening as warmer air works its way into the area from the
south. Higher elevations could see a few inches of snow. This may
cause slick roadways and low visibility. On Thursday, lake effect
snow showers are expected to develop with scattered snow squalls also

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Ohio and northwest
Pennsylvania.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Southwest winds may gust to 40 mph late tonight and Wednesday.

A period of wet snow is expected across Northeast Ohio and Northwest
Pennsylvania late tonight into early Wednesday. Accumulating snow
will likely impact the Wednesday morning commute in the higher
elevations of the snowbelt, with lesser impacts near Lake Erie and
outside of the higher elevations.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A burst of lake enhanced snow and falling temperatures will accompany
a cold front late Wednesday afternoon and evening. Roads may quickly
turn icy and slick as temperatures drop Wednesday evening.

A clipper and strong cold front will progress through the area
Saturday into Saturday night, with lingering lake effect snow
across the snowbelt through Sunday. Impactful snow accumulations are
possible this weekend, but confidence in the details is low.
