...GUSTY WINDS AND SLICK SPOTS ON ROADS...

Temperatures will fall to below freezing most areas by sunrise,
with readings remaining below freezing during the day. This will
cause water on untreated surfaces to freeze, creating the
potential for slick spots on roads.

In addition, gusty winds will continue today. Wind gusts before
sunrise could peak in the 35 to 40 mph range, with gusts during
the day around 30 mph.

If traveling today, be alert for slick spots on roads and for the
gusty winds which could make driving more difficult.

...STRONG GUSTY WINDS OVERNIGHT...

Strong west winds of 20 to 30 mph gusting to 45 mph will continue
overnight. Winds will gradually diminish starting around sunrise.
These winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be
blown down and a few power outages may result. Winds this strong can
make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use
extra caution.

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

Wind gusts between 35 and 40 mph may occur early this morning.

Slick spots remain possible on roads today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Additional accumulating snow is possible Monday night into Tuesday.

Wind chills around zero may occur Thursday night along the Interstate
70 corridor.

  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

Northwest winds will gust up to 25-35 mph this evening and
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Breezy conditions Sunday morning resulting in wind chills in the
upper single digits to low teens.

Another system will move towards the area Monday. There is
currently a 30 to 50 percent chance of precipitation. Any
precipitation that does occur would likely fall as light snow.

advisory continues through 6 am Sunday.

Additional light snow accumulations are likely late Monday afternoon
into Monday night.
