This Outlook is for Northwest and West Central Arkansas as well as
much of Eastern Oklahoma.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
No hazardous weather expected through tonight.
SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY...Dense Fog Potential.
SUNDAY...Thunderstorm Potential.
MONDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...No Hazards.
EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Clearing skies and surface ridging settling over the region could
lead to some areas of dense fog late Saturday night into Sunday
morning. Shower and thunderstorm chances will then return to the
region Sunday evening into Monday morning as an area of low
pressure lifts northeast through the Plains. The greatest thunder
and heavy rain potential will be across southeast Oklahoma into
west central Arkansas. Additional rainfall could lead to localized
areas of flash flooding on top of the recent heavy rains over the
same region.
