547 AM CST Sat Dec 6 2025

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated Fog risk.

DISCUSSION...

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 AM for areas along
and west of Highway 65 for visibilities dropping below 1/4 mi.
Central MO has the possibility of seeing freezing fog. If
freezing fog does occur, elevated surfaces may become icy,
  travel with caution.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

There is a slight chance (10-15%) of drizzle following the
frontal passage on Sunday morning mainly for areas along and
north of I-44. Freezing drizzle still remains a possibility on
Sunday morning for areas that get below 32 degrees. This would
mostly concern areas near central Missouri. Though, confidence is
low at this time for that scenario to occur due to the timing of
the front and how quickly temperatures drop behind it.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
