This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, east central Nebraska, northeast Nebraska and southeast
Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
There is a 20-50% chance of light snow today into early Friday. A
few slick spots will be possible on the morning and evening commutes.
Accumulations are expected to peak around one inch in far northeast
Nebraska, decreasing to the south and east.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.
Colder air moves into the area Friday and Saturday. High
temperatures on Friday will peak in the teens before Saturday morning
lows dip into the single digits below zero. Saturday morning wind
chills are expected in the 10 to 20 degree below zero range.
There`s an additional 40-60% chance for light snow late Saturday
into Sunday. While snow is expected to be light, confidence is low in
total accumulations.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Light snow arrives across north central Nebraska after Midnight CT
tonight. Snow accumulations up to 1 inch are possible with locally
higher amounts up to 2 inches in heavier bands.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Light snowfall continues Thursday into Thursday night across north
central and northern Nebraska with another half inch to 1 inch
possible mainly across the northern Sandhills.
Another round of snow pushes further to the south and west on Friday
with an additional half inch to 1 inch possible before tapering off
Friday evening. Grand total snow accumulations will range from 1 to 2
inches across northern and north central Nebraska with up to a half
inch to 1 inch elsewhere.
Colder air with sub-zero lows Friday night/Saturday morning and wind
chills falling into the negative teens will be possible for areas
mainly east of US-83.
Another round of light snow appears possible during the day
Saturday, favoring areas east of US-83. Little to no snow
accumulations are expected at this time.

Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.
.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.
Light snow chances return to the area late tonight, west of the
James River Valley.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Light snow chances continue Thursday into Thursday night, mainly west
of the James River and into the Missouri River Valley. An inch or
less of accumulation is expected.
Wind chills as cold as 20 below are expected Friday and Saturday
mornings.
Additional light snow is possible this weekend.
