This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, east central Nebraska, northeast Nebraska and southeast
Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a 20-30% chance of some light snow this morning, mainly west
of a line from Norfolk to Lincoln. Amounts will largely remain below
1/2 inch, but a few slick spots could develop.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Wind chills of 10 to 20 degrees below zero are expected early
Saturday morning, coldest in portions of northeast Nebraska.

There is a 50-80% chance of snow Saturday afternoon into early
Sunday with some slick roads expected. Amounts will mostly be in the
1/2 to 1 inch range, though a few spots in northeast Nebraska and
west-central Iowa could see around 2 inches.

Spotter activation will not be needed, but snow reports are
appreciated.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Light snow will continue to sink south across the outlook area
during the daytime hours today. Accumulations are expected to be
less than one inch. There will be the potential for wind gusts
near 20 to 25 MPH this afternoon, any snow falling in these winds
could result in brief reductions in visibility down to near one
mile at times.

Tonight into Saturday morning, low temperatures are forecast to
fall into the single digits below zero, and  there will be the
potential for wind chill values to drop into the -10 to -20
degree range.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Saturday morning, low temperatures are forecast to
fall into the single digits below zero, and there will be the
potential for wind chill values to drop into the -10 to -20 degree
range.

Another chance for light snow will spread across the outlook area
during the day on Saturday. At this time, accumulations are
expected to be less than one inch.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Snow returns tonight lasting through Friday. Light accumulations of
up to 2 inches will be possible across northern Nebraska and into the
Sandhills with lesser amounts down to a half inch or less near the
I-80 corridor.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Colder temperatures move in Friday night into Saturday morning with
sub-zero lows expected east of US-83. Southwesterly winds will
promote wind chill values falling into the negative teens across
areas mainly east of US-83. Cold weather headlines are not in effect
at this time, but may be needed as confidence continues to increase.

Light snow is possible on Saturday generally east of US-83.
Accumulations up to a half inch are expected at this time.
