This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska and southeast South
Dakota.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this evening and into the
early overnight hours. Severe weather risks remain low, but isolated
storms could produce nickle size hail and 50 mph winds.
A larger area of shower and thunderstorms moves northeast after
midnight, continuing through daybreak. The severe weather risk
remains low, but isolated storms may produce nickel size hail and 50
mph winds.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Additional chances for showers and thunderstorms are expected from
Wednesday through Friday. While locally heavy rainfall will be the
main threat, can`t rule out a few weak funnels with some of the
developing activity. Make sure to keep up to date with the latest

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of west central
Minnesota.

Isolated strong thunderstorms may develop early this evening over
parts of west central Minnesota. If strong thunderstorms develop,
small hail and lighting would be the main threats.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
A wet pattern with periods of rain is expected over parts of
eastern North Dakota into northwest and west central Minnesota
Wednesday through Friday. There is a high chance for soaking
rainfall over that three day period, which could cause impacts to
outdoor activities.

thunderstorms do form, hazards include up to penny size hail, wind
gusts up to 40 knots, and occasional cloud-to-water lightning.

Several rounds of thunderstorms are possible Wednesday through
Friday.
Gusty northeast winds and elevated wave heights on Thursday and
Friday may lead to hazardous conditions for smaller vessels.

There is around a 20 percent chance for thunderstorms across
northeast Minnesota this afternoon and tonight. Thunderstorm
potential will expand into northwest Wisconsin later on through
the night. Primary hazards will be hail to penny size, wind gusts
in excess of 50 mph, dangerous lightning and heavy rain.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon into
early this evening. A few strong to marginally severe storms are
possible with hail or gusty winds. In addition, the environment
may be supportive of weak funnel cloud development.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
More widespread storm chances are expected Wednesday through
Friday with activity lingering into this weekend. There is no
apparent severe weather risk at this time. Locally heavy rainfall
may occur, but widespread flooding is not expected.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.
.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected across the region late this
afternoon into the overnight hours. A few storms may become strong to
severe over portions of south central into east central South Dakota.
Main threats are winds to around 60 mph and quarter size hail.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
A prolonged period of wet weather is expected Wednesday and
Thursday, with most of the rain slowly coming to an end Friday into
Friday night. Moderate rain over the same area could create flooding
issues. There is a 70 percent chance of getting an inch of rain by
Friday, and around a 40 percent of getting over 2 inches of rain.
