decrease later this evening, light snow may linger through the
nighttime hours, leading to continued hazardous road conditions.
Additionally, winds will increase late this evening into tonight
leading to blowing snow, particularly west of the Mississippi River
valley where near-blizzard conditions may occur. Thus, in addition
to slippery roads, visibility may be greatly restricted as well with
very difficult travel conditions expected through the overnight
hours west of the Mississippi.
