...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties.

  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Yellow Medicine, Lac qui
  Parle and Chippewa Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Montevideo.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Low lying areas and some roads along the
  river begin flooding, along with some basements of houses along
  the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Monday, the stage was 15.3 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Monday was 15.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 14.5 feet Monday,
    September 08.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.3 feet on 03/03/1996.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Riverside Rd and Front Street flooded in
  North Redwood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 900 AM CDT Monday, the stage was 21.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 900 AM CDT Monday was 21.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Friday morning and continue falling to 20.2 feet Monday,
    September 08.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    21.9 feet on 04/04/2007.

southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Isolated to scattered thundershowers are expected to develop this
afternoon. Severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop Tuesday afternoon and
evening. A few of the storms could be severe on Tuesday, with a
level 1 of 5 severe risk. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary
hazard.

SKYWARN spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight

An isolated storm is possible this afternoon and evening, mainly
over western Iowa. The severe weather potential is low but a brief
funnel cloud is possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Patchy fog may develop early Tuesday morning, leading to reduced
visibilities before burning off after sunrise.

Thunderstorm chances return to the forecast on Tuesday in northern
Iowa, then spreading across the rest of the state Tuesday night
through Wednesday. The severe weather threat appears low at this
time, but a stronger storm may be possible in southern Iowa
Wednesday afternoon.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of eastern North
Dakota, west central and northwest Minnesota.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorms may develop over parts of the region this
evening, with lightning and small hail the main threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

There is a level 1 out of 5 risk for severe storms in southeast North
Dakota into west central Minnesota Tuesday afternoon. The main
hazards include hail to the size of quarters and wind gusts to 60
mph.

Below average temperatures will occur mid to late week, with
morning frost likely over parts of the region. This includes a 30
percent chance for below freezing temperatures in northwest
Minnesota Thursday morning.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Funnel clouds are possible this afternoon and early evening with
developing showers, especially across southwestern Minnesota. These
are not expected to reach the ground, but head indoors if you feel
your safety is threatened.

Patchy fog, including fog with visibility below one quarter mile, is
possible again tonight. Be prepared for reduced visibility on the
morning commute.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Shower and thunderstorm chances continue Tuesday afternoon and
night. A few storms may become severe with quarter sized hail and
60 mph winds being the primary threats, with the greatest risk along
and north of I-90.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Isolated thunderstorms are forecast today and tonight, most
likely along the North Shore. Occasional cloud-to-water lightning
is the main threat. Severe weather is not anticipated at this
time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A cold front will move through the area Tuesday and Tuesday night
which include a risk of thunderstorms, some of which may be
strong to severe. Occasional cloud-to-water lightning, wind gusts
of 35 to 50 knots, and large hail are the main threats from the
storms.

Gusty north and northwest winds are forecast over western Lake
Superior in the wake of a cold front Wednesday through the end of
the week. Conditions will be hazardous to smaller vessels at times
from through Saturday.

There is a small risk of waterspouts Wednesday and Thursday.

tonight. Occasional cloud-to-ground lightning is the main threat
with the storms. Brief periods of very localized heavy rainfall
are possible which may lead to ponding of water in low-lying
areas. Severe weather is not expected.

Areas of dense fog may redevelop tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Dense fog may linger Tuesday morning.

A cold front will move through the area Tuesday and Tuesday
night. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will accompany the cold
front. A few storms may be strong to severe over central
Minnesota. Hail to ping pong ball size, occasional cloud-to-ground
lightning, brief wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph, and locally heavy
rain which may lead to minor flooding are the main threats.

Patchy frost is possible Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights.

Skywarn spotters may be needed Tuesday afternoon and evening.
