* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.

Martin Counties.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
from shore into deeper water.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Rip currents are powerful channels of water flowing quickly away
from shore, which occur most often at low spots or breaks in the
sandbar and in the vicinity of structures such as jetties and
piers. Heed the advice of lifeguards, beach patrol flags and
signs.
Entering the surf is strongly discouraged. If caught in a rip
current, relax and float. Don`t swim against the current. If
able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to
escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.

...PATCHY DENSE FOG WILL AFFECT PORTIONS OF BREVARD, OKEECHOBEE,
INDIAN RIVER, SAINT LUCIE, AND MARTIN COUNTIES THIS MORNING...
At 6:40 AM, observations, traffic cameras, and satellite imagery
indicated that patchy dense fog has developed across portions of
the southern East Central Florida counties. Localized visibilities
of a half-mile or less will be possible. This fog was drifting
north, and could reach parts of Orange and northern Brevard
counties before dissipating.
Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility. When
encountering fog, slow down, increase following distance, and use
low-beam headlights.

...PATCHY DENSE FOG THIS MORNING...
Areas of fog and low clouds are noted in satellite imagery, surface
observations, and local traffic cameras over north central Florida
over parts of Marion county and Putnam county. The fog will linger
through 830 AM and may drift a bit further north and east toward
Clay or Alachua counties. The fog may be locally dense to a
quarter of a mile at times.
The nature of the fog is such that visibilities will vary greatly
over short distances. Motorists should be alert for rapidly
changing conditions through sunrise.
