This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and thunderstorms will continue to push into the area
from the west this evening. Cloud to ground lightning and small
hail will be possible with the storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Isolates thunderstorms will be possible at times Monday into
Tuesday along a warm front that will lift through a region. A
system will move through the region mid week and bring additional
showers and thunderstorms. Lightning and locally heavy rainfall
will be possible. There also could be the potential for a few
strong storms on Wednesday. Another system will move through the
region late this week into next weekend bringing additional
showers and storms to the region with the additional potential of
some strong to severe storms.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are ongoing and will remain
possible through much of the overnight. Severe weather is not
expected, although a strong storm or two may produce small hail.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
An unsettled weather pattern will persist through the upcoming week
with multiple periods of shower and thunderstorms. The more widespread
storm coverage is currently forecast Tuesday night into Wednesday
and again Thursday night through Friday night. A severe weather
and heavy rainfall risk may occur at times through the week.

Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A brief period where wintry precipitation mixes in with overnight
rain is possible late tonight along and north of the Interstate 64
corridor, but no wintry accumulations are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Daily thunderstorm chances are forecast Wednesday through the end
of next week. Some of the thunderstorms could produce locally
heavy rain. It is too early to determine if any of the periods of
thunderstorms would pose a risk of severe weather.
