...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM CST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Arkansas and east central,
  northeast, and southeast Oklahoma.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM CST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities are expected to be reduced to less than one
  quarter mile in spots by dense fog. Rapidly changing visibility
  will create hazardous driving conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down, use your low beam headlights, and leave
plenty of distance ahead of you.

  Limited Fog risk.

DISCUSSION...

  Areas of fog could form tonight into Saturday morning,
  especially for areas along and west of Highway 65. Some
  freezing fog will also be possible mainly north of Highway 60.
  Use caution if traveling tonight into early Saturday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

much of Eastern Oklahoma.

POOR VISIBILITY.
RISK...Significant.
AREA...Eastern Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas.
ONSET...After Midnight.

DISCUSSION...
Areas to widespread fog development, some of which could become
dense, are anticipated again tonight across eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas. Visibility less than one quarter mile at times
is forecast late tonight through mid morning Saturday. Conditions
look to slowly improve mid morning into the early afternoon hours.
Use caution while driving tonight and Saturday.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Spotter Activation Not Expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
SATURDAY...Dense Fog Potential.
SUNDAY AND MONDAY...No Hazards.
TUESDAY...High Wind Potential.
WEDNESDAY AND  THURSDAY...No Hazards.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
A dry cold front is forecast to move through eastern Oklahoma and
northwest Arkansas Saturday night, which will help to move out the
current weather pattern over the region. A warming trend develops
early next week with the return of breezy southerly winds. Another
dry disturbance looks to move across the region during the middle
part of next week with more seasonal average temperatures late in
the week.
