* WHERE...Congaree River at Carolina Eastman.
* WHEN...Until early Monday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 115.0 feet, Flooding occurs in low lying areas of the
Carolina Eastman Facility and at the Congaree National Park.
At 119.0 feet, Extensive flooding occurs in the Congaree National
Park. Some area farmland is flooded. Minor flooding occurs at the
Carolina Eastman Facility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 6:40 PM EST Friday the stage was 118.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 114.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:40 PM EST Friday was 118.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 119.3 feet early
Saturday afternoon, then fall below flood stage early Sunday
afternoon to 113.0 feet early Monday afternoon. before rising
again.

Gadsden.
* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, Flooding begins in the Congaree National
Park. This will begin to produce flooding of portions of the lower
boardwalk.
At 17.0 feet, The access road to the Sandy Run subdivision becomes
flooded. The lower boardwalk in the Congaree National Park becomes
flooded by Cedar Creek.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 PM EST Friday the stage was 16.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:00 PM EST Friday was 16.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is forecast to rise to 16.8 feet
Saturday evening. It is then expected to fall below flood
stage late Monday morning to 14.6 feet early Tuesday morning
before rising again.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

At 33.0 feet, Southeast of Wallace, water spreads onto Old River
Road between Community Road and Highway 912.

- At 8:15 PM EST Friday the stage was 33.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 PM EST Friday was 33.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 33.1
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below

while also disrupting logging operations. Operations will likely
cease and equipment not previously moved will remain trapped. Some
farmland will have minor flooding especially around Britton Neck.

- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to 22.9 feet Wednesday
evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
