This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Periods of snow will be possible along the Teller and El Paso
county line this afternoon. The snow will then push southward this
evening into late tonight. Accumulating snow will occur later
tonight generally north of a line from Buena Vista to Pikes Peak
to Rush. A few inches will likely be on the ground in the Monument
area by sunrise Wednesday.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday
Snow will push southward tomorrow morning impacting the Remainder
of the Pikes Peak region into the Pueblo and Canon City areas.
The snow will then push down across far southern Colorado by later
tomorrow morning. Heavy snow will be likely across all of the
southern mountains with some locally heavy snow occurring over the
east slopes of the San Juans.
The remainder of the eastern plains will see little if any
accumulating snow, with the best chances being north of highway 50
tomorrow morning. The San Luis valley will also little if any
accumulating snow.
A hard freeze is likely Wednesday night into Thursday morning
across all of the southeast plains. Low temperatures in the mid
20s are likely to be widespread across the lower elevations.

Widespread showers, thunderstorms and mountain snows are possible
through the day and overnight. Winter Weather Advisories are in place
for the northern and central mountains for 4 to 8 inches of new snow,
with locally higher amounts possible.

A Freeze Watch is in place for the northern valleys Wednesday morning
where lows are expected to drop to the mid-20s.
