This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow will increase in the mountains through the afternoon today
before tapering off into the early morning hours Monday. The
heaviest snow will likely be focused over the I-70 mountain
corridor surrounding Summit County, where travel will be
particularly hazardous this afternoon and evening. Elsewhere,
light snow will a few heavier embedded bands are expected to
overspread the Denver metro and Palmer Divide this evening. Most
areas will see less than 1", but localized accumulations of 1-2"
can be expected for locations impacted by snow bands, resulting in
slick roads. Temperatures will again be cold tonight, dropping
into the low teens in the plains and urban corridor, and single
digits in the mountain valleys.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

No hazardous conditions Monday or Tuesday. Snow is expected on
Wednesday for most areas, with the highest confidence in several
inches of accumulation and associated travel impacts for the high
country, foothills, and Palmer Divide. The Denver metro may also
see a few inches of accumulation Wednesday.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow will spread across the mountains this afternoon and into the
adjacent valleys and plains tonight.  Travel conditions will quickly
deteriorate around  or shortly before sundown across the mountains
with 5 to 10 inches of snow possible by dawn across the eastern San
Juan mountains, the Sawatch and western Mosquito ranges, and the
higher elevations of the Sangre De Cristo mountains.  The remainder
of the mountains could see up to 4 inches of accumulation with 1 to
2 inches across the interior valleys.  The adjacent plains will see
generally an inch or less along portions of the I-25 corridor by
dawn. Temperatures in the teens combined with blustery north winds
will lead to wind chills in the single digits towards dawn across
the plains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Snow will come to an end late Monday morning to early afternoon
across the higher terrain and southern Interstate 25 corridor.
Additional accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are possible.

The next storm system will move across the area Wednesday, with
another round of accumulating snow for the Mountains, down into

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Another round of wintry weather is expected across the mountains
today. Mountain passes are expected to be snow covered and slick this
afternoon into Monday morning. Snow accumulations range from 3 to 10
inches across the region with higher totals on favorable aspects and
elevations. Snow will begin to taper early Monday morning, but cold
temperatures will keep roadways slick.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Snow winds down Monday morning. Unsettled conditions return Tuesday
afternoon, with additional mountain snowfall expected midweek and
into next weekend. Temperatures remain on the cool side of
climatology through the period.

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
