This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Lingering thunderstorms will exit the area this morning. There is
a slight chance for thunderstorm development this afternoon
mainly east. If a storm develops, it is not expected to reach
severe levels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Periods of thunderstorms will impact the area from Wednesday
night into Saturday. There is a slight risk for thunderstorms to
become severe on Thursday.

It`s too early to determine the severe storm potential beyond
Thursday.

In addition to severe storms, there is a slight risk for heavy
rain that could lead to flash flooding or rises on area creeks and
rivers Thursday and Friday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Scattered to isolated thunderstorms will be possible across the
Outlook Area today and into the evening. The storms will be more
prevalent along and east of the Mississippi River later this
afternoon. Severe weather is not currently anticipated, but
stronger storm cells may produce gusty winds up to 45 MPH,
frequent lightning and locally heavy downpours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

There are periodic chances for thunderstorms this week, with the
highest chances expected on Thursday and Friday. A few strong
storms are possible on Thursday especially west of the Mississippi
River. The risk for strong to severe storms may extend into
Friday as well. Locally heavy rainfall and possible flooding will
also accompany the storm chances late in the week.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Kansas,
east central Kansas, north central Kansas, and northeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a 30 percent chance that thunderstorms redevelop this
afternoon across east central Kansas. If storms form, there is a
risk for strong wind gusts with the storms. The risk for
thunderstorms is forecast to decrease through the early evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Thunderstorms may develop Thursday night along a frontal boundary
to the west of the area and move into parts of north central
Kansas during the overnight hours. If ingredients come together,
there could be a risk for severe storms.

an overnight thunderstorms complex departs. Gusty winds and
lingering impacts from localized heavy rainfall may continue.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Daily precipitation chances Wednesday through at least Friday.
Thursday is shaping up to be a day of active weather with the
potential for both severe weather and excessive rainfall.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms are possible through early to mid this
morning, especially north of Highway 400. The strongest activity
will be capable of gusty winds, very small hail, and heavy rain.

For this afternoon through early evening, spotty thunderstorms are
possible generally along and south of Highway 54. Isolated strong to
severe wind gusts are possible, along with dime size hail and heavy
rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

After a mostly dry Wednesday and Thursday, off-and-on thunderstorm
chances are expected to return Thursday night and persist through
early next week. Isolated strong to severe thunderstorms are
possible, along with heavy rainfall.

Reports of severe weather, heavy rainfall amounts, and flooding are

  Marginal thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Elevated lightning risk.
  Limited excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

Chances (50-65%) for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and
early evening. There is the potential for a few strong to severe
thunderstorms, with damaging wind gusts of 50-60 mph in addition
to the potential of localized heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Additional rain chances (30-50%) persist through late week into
next weekend. Highest chances occur in the afternoon and
evenings.
