Northwest winds gusting 25 to 35 mph, combined with low humidity
and dried vegetation will create an elevated fire risk along and
west of the Mississippi River into this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

On Saturday, southerly winds gusting 25 to 35 mph, combined with
low humidity and dried vegetation will lead to critical fire
weather conditions for portions of the outlook area, focused west
and northwest of the Quad Cities, with elevated conditions
expected elsewhere. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for portions
of eastern Iowa.

There is a daily chance of thunderstorms Tuesday through Thursday.
At this time it is too early to determine any severe risk.
