...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM MDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Temperatures around 100 degrees.

* WHERE...Dawson, Roosevelt, McCone, Prairie, Richland, and Wibaux
  Counties.

* WHEN...From noon today to 8 PM MDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures may cause heat illnesses to occur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles
under any circumstances. Car interiors can reach lethal temperatures
in a matter of minutes.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
emergency! Call 9 1 1.

Isolated to scattered severe storms with large hail up to golf
ball size, damaging winds up to 70 mph, and a tornado or two are
possible across much of western and central North Dakota this
afternoon through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Strong thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A better chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms
across the region. Locally heavy rain is possible, with urban areas,
normally dry washes, and poor drainage areas susceptible to nuisance
flooding. Showers and thunderstorms many linger into the late evening
hours.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Independence Day...Afternoon and evening thunderstorms, with some
the best chances likely across central and northern WY. Some strong
storms may be possible especially in portions of northern and eastern
WY. The main concerns will be heavy rain, strong gusty winds, and
small hail.

Saturday...Thunderstorms develop once again in the afternoon with
coverage being more isolated in nature.
