...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Southeast winds around 20 knots with gusts up to 30
  knots.

* WHERE...Baffin Bay and Upper Laguna Madre, Corpus Christi and
  Nueces Bays and Coastal waters from Baffin Bay to Port Aransas
  out 20 NM.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM CST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM CST THIS MORNING
THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Dangerous rip currents expected.

* WHERE...Kenedy Island, Willacy Island and Cameron Island
  Counties.

* WHEN...From 6 AM CST this morning through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away
  from shore into deeper water.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
