* WHAT...Snow. Total snowfall 2 to 6 inches.  Heaviest snowfall from
  Forman to Wahpeton/Breckenridge east thru southern Otter Tail
  county.

* WHERE...In Minnesota, East Otter Tail, West Otter Tail, and Wilkin
  Counties. In North Dakota, Richland and Sargent Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road

EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds with gusts of 50 to 65 mph possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Montana.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
  Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially
  for high profile vehicles. The warm and windy conditions could
  cause rapid fire spread in grasses. Use caution with any burning
  activities.

...HEAVY SNOW AND REDUCED VISIBILITY IN FAR SOUTHEAST NORTH
DAKOTA WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA...

Bands of heavy snow and light winds are dropping visibility as low
as 1/4SM currently and widespread under 1SM. These visibility
impacts are expected to continue through 3AM in southeast North
Dakota and 5AM in west central Minnesota. Another 1 to 2 inches
of additional snow accumulation is expected, greatest on grassy
surfaces but webcams are showing roads becoming snow covered and
slick. Be prepared for difficult travel and reduced visibility,
and be sure to check the latest road conditions.

central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Another round of snow develops later today and spreads from west to
east. Snow continues into the overnight hours and clears out by
morning. Generally look for a dusting to as much as an inch or two
with some locally higher amounts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A stronger clipper is possible Thursday, though there is some
uncertainty as to how strong we can expect winds to get and how much
moisture will accompany the system.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western South
Dakota and northeastern Wyoming.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Red Flag Warning is in effect this afternoon for a small part
of northeastern Wyoming and southwestern South Dakota. See RFWUNR
for details.

The Grassland Fire Danger will be very high to extreme over
southwestern South Dakota this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Snow will fall Tuesday, especially Tuesday afternoon and evening.
The best chance for several inches of snow will be over the higher
Black Hills with lower chances for around an inch on the plains.
However, antecedent warm ground and marginally cold air
temperatures will impact how much snow actually accumulates.

Elevated fire weather conditions are expected Wednesday, but
critical fire weather conditions may develop Thursday due to a
sharp warmup, very dry air, and strong wind gusts in excess of
50-60 mph.
