Lake effect snow ends this morning in the Keweenaw, but returns
this afternoon and tonight. New Winter Weather Advisories have
been issued for snow amounts of 3 to 6 inches and potential
visibility reductions from blowing snow.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
Coldest air of the season will create a period of below zero
temperatures from Thursday night through at least Saturday morning
across most of Upper Michigan. Temperatures below -15F and wind
chills near -35F are likely (70% chance or greater). An Extreme
Cold Watch remains in effect for western and central Upper
Michigan.
