...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
NOON AKDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...East winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph possible.

* WHERE...Dalton Highway Summits.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to noon AKDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Travel
  could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest wind gusts are expected near
  midnight Monday night. Winds quickly diminish through Tuesday
  morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution

...FLOOD WARNING FOR AN ICE JAM REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM AKDT
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by high water and heavy ice runs is
  expected.

* WHERE...Alakanuk and Emmonak.

* WHEN...Until 100 AM AKDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - As of 1 PM Monday, the River Watch Team observed the breakup
    front moving downstream past Emmonak and Alakanuk with a 30
    mile run of thick bank to bank ice and high water upstream.
    There are reports that Kwiguk Pass is jamming up at the mouth
    and that water will begin backing up into Emmonak. The high
    water has caused flooding in upstream areas in conjunction
    with this ice run. Residents should take precautions now and
    continue to monitor the situation closely.
  - For Yukon River at Emmonak:
    At 11:15am the stage was 6.9 feet.
    For Yukon River at Pilot Station:
    At 01:15pm Sunday the stage was 31.27 feet.

    continuing to rise following several feet of rise on
    Saturday.

  - The breakup front remains located downriver of Mountain
    Village. It is moving slowly into the remaining in-place ice.
    Plenty of high water is still pushing down the river from the
    jam near Holy Cross a few days ago. As the surge of high
    water moves downstream, it is causing flooding in several
    communities along the Yukon.
  - For Yukon River at Pilot Station:

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is expected or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1002 PM AKDT, water levels have risen significantly with
    impacts to low lying fish camps and smokehouses. Smaller
    outbuildings from camps were reported to be floating upstream
    on the Andreafsky River. Observers have reported the highest
    water since 1989. Until the breakup front moves farther
    downstream, expect continued slow rises and potential
    flooding of low-lying areas.

  - Water levels had peaked at the Yukon River Pilot Station gage
    at 33.76 feet Sunday afternoon and have begun to slowly drop
    as of Sunday evening. The breakup front remains located
    downriver of Mountain Village. It is moving slowly into the
    remaining in-place ice. Plenty of high water is still pushing
    down the river from the jam near Holy Cross a few days ago.
    As the surge of high water moves downstream, it is causing
    flooding in several communities along the Yukon.

* IMPACTS...Extensive flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other
  low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 959 PM AKDT, water levels had peaked at the Yukon River
    Pilot Station gage at 33.76 feet Sunday afternoon and have
    begun to slowly drop as of Sunday evening. Low-lying areas
    remain flooded. All roads in Pilot Station are impassable
    unless by boat. Multiple homes are inundated with water.
    Water levels have exceeded 2024 and are second only to 1989.
    Residents should continue to exercise caution in and around
    flood waters.

  - The breakup front remains located downriver of Mountain
    Village. It is moving slowly into the remaining in-place ice.
    Plenty of high water is still pushing down the river from the
    jam near Holy Cross a few days ago. As the surge of high
    water moves downstream, it is causing flooding in several
    communities along the Yukon.

...FLOOD WATCH FOR AN ICE JAM REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM AKDT
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by high water and heavy ice runs continues
  to be possible.

* WHERE...Lower Yukon River. This includes the communities of Kotlik
  and Nunam Iqua.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM AKDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...High water may result in flooding of rivers, creeks,
  streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - As of 1 PM Monday, the River Watch Team observed the breakup
    front  moving downstream past Emmonak and Alakanuk with a 30
    mile run of thick bank to bank ice and high water upstream
    still. Kwiguk Pass is jamming up and water will begin backing
    up at Emmonak. Based on the very high water levels seen at
    the gauge at Pilot Station, communities could see the highest
    water levels since 1989.
