THE DECEASED WAS FOUND BY THE VESSEL CREW APPROXIMATELY 1450Z ON AUGUST 31. DAMAGE THROUGHOUT MONROE COUNTY WAS LIMITED TO DOWNED TREE LIMBS. THERE WAS MINOR IMPACT FROM OCEAN OVERWASH...AND TWO STREET BLOCKS WERE TEMPORARILY CLOSED IN KEY WEST (SOUTHERNMOST BLOCK OF WHITEHEAD STREET AND WESTERNMOST BLOCK OF SOUTH STREET...NEAR SOUTHERNMOST POINT BUOY ATTRACTION) DUE TO EXCESSIVE SEAWEED AND SAND. ALL STREETS WERE CLEARED OF DEBRIS DURING THE AFTERNOON OF THE 31ST.
