Nearly 87% of Arkansas continues to experience drought conditions.
Nearly 75% of the state is in severe drought or greater (D2 or greater).
Small areas of drought improvement were noted across parts of western Arkansas.

D4 (Exceptional Drought): Portions of northeast and southeast Arkansas. 
D3 (Extreme Drought): Several portions of Arkansas.
D2 (Severe Drought): Much of Arkansas has D2 or greater conditions indicated. 
D1 (Moderate Drought): Portions of northwest, east central. 
D0: (Abnormally Dry): Portions of western and eastern Arkansas.

Temperatures over the most recent 7-day period were much cooler statewide, as much as 4-6 degrees below normal.
