Tropical Depression Two is expected to gradually strengthen and could bring tropical storm conditions to the Florida Panhandle beginning late Monday. Lunar Eclipse Does Not Disappoint

Perfect viewing conditions, including clear skies, pleasant temperatures and light winds, combined with an early morning lunar eclipse to bring delight to both professional and novice sky gazers alike. The lunar eclipse, which began at 3:51 am Tuesday, August 28, 2007, peaked at 5:37 am, and ended at 7:24 am, brought one of the best visual lunar eclipses in recent memory. At mid totality the moon turned a VERY dark blood-red color (as can be seen on the right side of the picture below).
