A WINTER STORM TRACKED THROUGH THE REGION TUESDAY NIGHT INTO
WEDNESDAY MORNING...BRINGING BITTERLY COLD TEMPERATURES AND
ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL TO THE AREA. GENERALLY...BETWEEN TWO TO THREE
INCHES OF SNOW FELL ACROSS THE EXTREME SOUTHERN PANHANDLE...WITH
LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS OF FOUR TO FIVE INCHES ALONG A NARROW BAND
IN NORTHERN PARMER AND SWISHER COUNTIES. ELSEWHERE ACROSS THE SOUTH
PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS...A TRACE TO ONE INCH OF SNOWFALL WAS
OBSERVED...WITH PERHAPS A FEW LOCALIZED AREAS THAT HAD SLIGHTLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS.
