Storm Impacting the Northwest U.S.; Fire Weather Conditions in Southern California; Severe Weather in the South

A Pacific storm is bringing areas of low elevation rain, moderate to heavy mountain snow, and high winds to the Northwest. Strong Santa Ana winds and very dry conditions are producing elevated to critical fire weather conditions in southern California. Why did you change the radar site? 

The old website used very outdated technology, including Flash, which will stop working after December 31, 2020. The new website offers higher resolution data, more radar products (including both local and national radar imagery), and works on all platforms including smartphones and tablets.
