...Frost/Freeze Program Update for Spring 2026... The frost/freeze program will become active for all of northern and eastern Maine, effective Monday, June 1st. The program will remain active until the appropriate end ending dates in the fall of 2026. A frost advisory will be issued if the temperature is expected to drop to 32 to 36 degrees, and a freze warning will be issued if the temperature is expected to drop below freezing.
