DESTRUCTIVE 70 MPH WINDS...6 MILES WEST OF PALMVIEW...MOVING
EAST AT 35 MPH.
AT 208 PM CDT…EMERGENCY MANAGERS REPORTED NUMEROUS TREES AND POWERLINES HAD
BEEN KNOCKED DOWN IN LA JOYA. A SPOTTER RECORDED A 65 MPH WIND GUST IN
PENITAS.
