Stop By our Booth this Saturday

The National Weather Service office in Brownsville will host a booth at the Brownsville Farmers’ Market, at Linear Park just east of downtown Brownsville, E. 7th Street and Harrison, from 9 AM to Noon on Saturday, November 13th. All are invited to stop by our table and visit with local meteorologists, learn about all things weather in the Rio Grande Valley, learn how to measure rainfall, see how a weather balloon works, pick up some educational material, and sign up for Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network. So, after picking up fresh fruit and vegetables, drop in to learn how rain, drought, heat, and cold can affect the quantity and quality of the produce.

Hope to see you there!
